Week in Review: August 27-31

Wow! Time has really flown by! We just completed our fourth week and twentieth day of school. Here is a re-cap of the lessons taught:

First Grade: Stamp Game Addition, Positive Snake Game, Number Words, Matching Fractions, Types of Triangles, ABC Order, Animals and Their Young, Creative Writing, Clock of Eras, Volcanos, Chemical Combination of Gas Experiment, Crystallization Experiment, and Chemical Reaction Experiment.

Second Grade: Stamp Game Multiplication, Addition Bingo, Number Words, Fraction Equivalents, Types of Triangles, ABC Order, Common and Proper Nouns, Conjugating Verbs, Creative Writing, Clock of Eras, Volcanos, Chemical Combination of Gas Experiment, Crystallization Experiment, and Chemical Reaction Experiment.

Third Grade: Checkerboard Multiplication, Multiplication Bingo, Number Words, Fraction Equivalents, Types of Triangles, ABC Order, Common and Proper Nouns, Types of Adverbs, Creative Writing, Clock of Eras, Volcanos, Chemical Combination of Gas Experiment, Crystallization Experiment, and Chemical Reaction Experiment.

Week in Review: August 20-24

As we settled into our third week of school our students worked on many language, mathematics, and cultural jobs and lessons.

In addition to the standard language and math jobs, each grade level received the following lessons:

1st Grade: ABC Order, Animals and Their Young, Creative Writing, Number Words, Fraction Introduction, and Triangles.

2nd Grade: ABC Order, Verb Tense, Creative Writing, Number Words, Equivalent Fractions, and Triangles.

3rd Grade: ABC Order, Types of Adverbs, Creative Writing, Number Words, and Triangles.

All students received our cultural lessons: The Year and It's Parts, Volcanoes, and Science Experiment 5-8.

Our Second Week

Our students are working hard on language, mathematics and cultural jobs. We had a beautiful cultural presentation this week on the history of time.
