Summer Fact Practice

Throughout the year there are many activities and jobs that are related to the memorization of math facts. The Montessori curriculum recognizes the need for this skill in larger and more complicated operations. However, the timed aspect of memorization is not addressed during class time. Since the state and national standards for math include a timed test, we have included in the homework for each week. During the summer it is important for the students to stay on top of the facts that they have mastered, as well as work on those they are trying to master. The following site gives parents the opportunity to individualize the practice for the needs of their particular child.
