January Recap and the week ahead (January 22nd - 26th)

Hello again! We had a wonderful start to 2018! Although last week was a bit shorter than expected, students worked diligently on various language, math, and cultural jobs.

This coming week, first grade students will continue to study homophones, match animals to their sounds, make singular nouns into plurals, and continue to solve large subtraction problems.

Second grade students will continue their study of homophones and adverbs. Students will also multiply fractions by whole numbers, make singular nouns into plurals, solve division problems, and create their own classification categories.

Third grade will continue their study of homophones and interjections. Students will also multiply fractions by whole numbers, solve problems with all four operations, create their own classification categories, and make singular nouns into plurals by adding -s, -es, or -ies.
