Week in Review: September 24-28

What a fun week in Lower Elementary! Our students were very excited about of in-depth study of dinosaurs and outer planets. We also continued to work on our map skills. In addition to our usual language and math work, our first graders were given the following presentations: addition with the Stamp Game, types of fractions, even and odd, quadrilateral intro, number words 51-60, adjective review, and synonyms. The second graders received the following lesson: Checkerboard multiplication, types of fractions, even and odd, quadrilateral review, verb tense, synonyms, editing with common, and proper nouns. The third graders received the following lessons: Checkerboard multiplication, types of fractions, even and odd, quadrilateral review, writing sentences with adverbs, synonyms, and editing with common and proper nouns.
